Sources and update methodology

How facts on this site are recorded, verified, dated and corrected — and what to do if something here is wrong.

Where the content lives

Nothing on this site is written directly into a page. Every fact is a record in a typed content layer, and pages render those records. A record carries a stable identifier, a summary, optional detail, dates with an explicit precision, an editorial status (draft, review, published or archived), a verification status, a last-verified date, and a list of source identifiers.

Verification levels

  • First-party — stated by Faheem Ghulam Ali on properties he controls.
  • Verified — stated first-party and corroborated by at least one independent record.
  • External — recorded by a third party such as a publication or directory. Listed as reported, not endorsed.
  • Needs review — incomplete or conflicting. Shown with the conflict described, never smoothed over.

Dates

Dates carry a precision label: exact, month, year, ongoing or unknown. Where no date has ever been published — TaxNoop's founding, for example — the site says so rather than inferring one.

Editorial workflow

A change starts as a draft record. It moves to review once written, and only becomes published when a source is attached and the last-verified date is set. Superseded facts are archived rather than deleted, so the history of a correction stays intact. Only published records render, appear in the sitemap, or enter the structured data.

Corrections

If a statement here is inaccurate, write to ceo@qwhosting.com with the page and the correct information. Corrections are made at the record level, so a fix propagates to every page, the knowledge graph, the structured data and the machine-readable files at once.
